Competition vests are for the more experienced riders for water sports like wakeboarding, water skiing and kneeboarding. They are much lighter and less restrictive, providing more freedom of movement. The additional range of motion can improve your riding and give you more comfort. Comp vests are not recommended for beginners as these vests have limited flotation. They are NOT United States Coast Guard Approved (USCGA). Life Vests offers more flotation and are USCGA approved.
